Diamond Celebration

DIAMOND CELEBRATIONS

Since 1958 St. Andrews International Secondary School has played an important part in Malawian education, culture and social life and in 2018 we reach our Diamond Anniversary year.

In recognition of sixty years of excellence at SAIntS we are thrilled to announce plans for celebrations throughout the coming year. There are opportunities to reflect on the past sixty years as well as initiatives focused on developing SAIntS for the future. We are proud of our achievements and contribution to the community and warmly invite parents, students and alumni to join us in commemorating this milestone.

The preparations for the year ahead are well underway. We have the specially commissioned new diamond logo has been launched as a symbol of our bright future.

27th and 29th April 2018 saw two community very popular events. First was the International Evening with food and entertainment from around the globe which represented the diverse community we have here at SAIntS. This was followed by the first Diamond Family Funday in which we hosted various stalls and events, including a colour run, which was in aid of our school charity Road to Relief.

Pictures and videos of these events can be found at our Twitter and Facebook pages.

In September 2019 we will host a Diamond Ball as well as continuing with various celebration and acknowledgement of the fantastic year.

The Diamond Facebook group has attracted our local community as we as our Alumni. We hope past students will return to reminisce over six decades of academic excellence and compare experiences with the latest generation of SAIntS students. Please take a look.

Please keep a look out for further updates about our Diamond Celebration as our 60th year continues. If you are able to contribute ideas, resources or time we will be glad to hear from you. Let us make our 60th year a year to remember in the Warm Heart of Africa.
