St Andrew’s is a prestigious, independent, co-educational day and boarding school offering a quality education, based on the English National Curriculum, to IGCSE, GCSE, BTEC, AS and A2 level. We are a multi-ethnic school of 500 students with over 30 different nationalities in the 11-18 age range. The following position(s) is/are available this year.

The teaching and non-teaching staff at SAIntS are a hard-working, focused and dedicated team of professionals. We seek to provide a quality education and strive to achieve our vision, ‘to be a leader of education in Africa’.

From time to time, vacancies become available at SAIntS. All vacancies are advertised in the local press here in Malawi and teaching posts are also advertised Internationally in the Times Educational Supplement (TES).  Our main round of interviews take place in February for vacancies occurring the following September.

Teaching Staff:

Teaching Vacancies are also advertised on the Teachaway website. Applications are in the form of an application form, letter and CV. Two referees will be required and they will be consulted prior to formal interviews taking place. International staff are recruited on a two year contract. Teachers employed from within Malawi who are nationals or permanent residents will be required to complete a period of probation before receiving a permanent contract.

Non-Teaching Staff:

Non-teaching staff carry out a range of roles which include, but are not exclusive, to the ground staff, support staff, ICT technical team, kitchen staff, learning support and PE support. Non-teaching posts are advertised within Malawi in the local press.
