DramaDrama at SAIntS is a creative, dynamic and popular performance art which students thoroughly enjoy.  The subject is taught by two enthusiastic and dedicated specialist drama teachers who draw on a wide range of acting, theatre and teaching experience to provide an excellent level of guidance.

Our aim is to help students to:

  • Develop their skills in creating and performing Drama
  • Become more confident in performing in front of an audience
  • Develop excellent team-work and inter-personal skills

The department is housed in a large Drama Studio and two smaller Drama Rooms. School productions are presented in the school Hall, and there is a new, outdoor amphitheatre for small scale performances. These venues provide great spaces for performances ranging from intimate studio performances to large scale productions. The performance spaces are well equipped, with the latest stage lighting, computer and sound equipment.
