Pastoral Care

Everything we do at Saint Andrew’s International High School is underpinned by these two words. We are dedicated to providing the very best pastoral support.

From primary school transition to university admission, we care about developing the whole child and nurturing them throughout their SAIntS journey and our diverse, expert team of professionals is there to remove any potential barrier to a child’s learning or progress.

We have a bespoke Life Skills curriculum which has been developed to fulfil our school mission to empower our students and develop responsible citizens who will become the next generation of leaders.

No wonder this isn’t only the best holistic support offered by any school in Malawi: our pastoral care has been recognised as ‘exemplary’ by the Council of British International Schools (COBIS) and we have shared our practice with the best international schools worldwide.

We Care_Basic

The wellbeing of our students and staff is a top priority at SAIntS. We have a qualified counsellor who provides professional support, alongside access to wider support networks within Malawi.

Throughout the year, we organise a range of wellbeing activities to promote a positive and balanced school environment. More importantly, we foster an open and supportive culture where every member of our community feels valued, heard, and cared for.
