Mr Nkosi is the Chair of the School Board at Saint Andrew’s International High School, where he brings a wealth of leadership experience and strategic insight from the financial services sector. A seasoned professional in reinsurance, Mr Nkosi has spent over two decades working with regional and international firms, specialising in risk management, underwriting, and strategic portfolio development.
His deep understanding of governance, compliance, and financial oversight has made him a key asset to the School Board. Under his leadership, the board has focused on strengthening institutional accountability, enhancing long-term sustainability, and supporting the school’s mission to deliver inclusive, high-quality education.
Mr Nkosi is passionate about education and youth development, believing strongly in the power of knowledge to transform lives. He is committed to fostering a school environment where students thrive both academically and personally.

Mr Delvin Khongono Vice Chair , Governor (Finance)
Mr Delvin Khongono is the Vice Chair of the School Board and a dedicated parent within the school community. Mr Khongono is the Managing Director at Minet Malawi.
Mr Delvin Knonongo - Vice Chair, Governor (Finance)
Mr Delvin Khongono is the Vice Chair of the School Board and a dedicated parent within the school community. Mr Khongono is the Managing Director at Minet Malawi. Prior to this, he served as Managing Director of Aon Malawi, a company he joined in 2000 as Chief Accountant. Over the years, he rose through the ranks, holding key positions including Financial Controller/Company Secretary, Finance Director, and eventually Managing Director in 2015.
He holds an MBA from the University of Derby (UK), a Certificate in Insurance from the UK-based Chartered Insurance Institute, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA UK). Mr Khongono became an Associate of ACCA in 2000, following his studies at the Malawi College of Accountancy.

Professor Eric Borgstein is a Consultant Paediatric Surgeon at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital and Professor of Surgery at the University of Malawi, College of Medicine.

Professor Eric Borgstein is a Consultant Paediatric Surgeon at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital and Professor of Surgery at the University of Malawi, College of Medicine. An SAIntS alumnus and former parent, he is also the longest-serving member of the Board of Governors. With decades of experience in clinical practice, teaching, and healthcare development, he has played a key role in advancing paediatric surgery and medical training in Malawi.
Professor Borgstein brings invaluable expertise, a deep commitment to education, and a long-standing connection to the SAIntS community.

Mrs Mpemba is a lifelong educationalist whose career reflects a deep and enduring commitment to teaching and learning.
Lesley Mpemba – Chair (Development), Governor (Policy)
Mrs Mpemba is a lifelong educationalist whose career reflects a deep and enduring commitment to teaching and learning. After obtaining her teaching qualification in Manchester, UK, she embarked on a rich and varied professional journey spanning both international and local contexts.
Her experience includes teaching in London, serving as a United Nations volunteer for an Oxfam project in Malawi, lecturing at a Teacher Training College, and working as a high school teacher in Malawi. She later served as an Inspector of Schools with the Ministry of Education before concluding her career in educational leadership as Headteacher of Phoenix International Primary School.
Now retired, Mrs Mpemba continues to make a meaningful contribution to the education sector as a Governor at Saint Andrew’s International High School. She is proud to support a school that has provided four of her grandchildren with an outstanding and well-rounded education.

Chiwoza Bandawe is Professor in the Department of Psychiatry & Mental Health at the Kamuzu University of Health Sciences, Malawi.

Chiwoza Bandawe is Professor in the Department of Psychiatry & Mental Health at the Kamuzu University of Health Sciences, Malawi. He holds a Ph.D from the University of Cape Town (2000) and a Masters in Clinical Psychology (1995) from the same university. He has also lectured at the University of Cape Town (2004-2007). He became the first Malawian to register as a clinical psychologist with the Malawi Medical Council in 1995.
As a practicing psychologist, he opened his own clinic: Harmony Mental Wellness Solutions in Blantyre, Malawi. He has published three mental health education books: Mind Tips: A Psychology of Practical Living Skills for Malawi (2005), Mind Tools to Sharpen Your Mental Health (2006) and Practical uMunthu Psychology (2010). He has a regular column in the Malawi Weekend Nation newspaper which seeks to promote mental health literacy. He has given numerous mental health talks to local and international conferences youth groups, organisations and churches. He is an alumnus of Saint Andrew’s International High School having studied there between 1977 and 1982.

Mrs Sandy Dudley Governor (Development & Policy)
Born and educated in California, Mrs Dudley studied at the University of California, Berkeley, where she earned her teaching credential before beginning her career in education.

Mrs Dudley and her husband moved to Ghana as high school teachers under AAI, later settling in Malawi in 1972. Over the decades, she taught at several schools across Zomba and Blantyre, including SAIntS, where she was a long-serving English, Dance and Drama teacher, Head of House, and Senior Teacher. In 2003, she became the school’s first full-time female Board Member.
Mrs Dudley continues to serve the school with pride and dedication.

Mr Ndau is a seasoned legal professional and the founding partner of Winlaw & Ndau, a private law practice. His expertise spans a wide range of areas including commercial and corporate law, employment law, arbitration, competition, mergers & acquisitions, insurance, and regulatory compliance. Over the years, he has held key legal positions, including serving as General Counsel for the publicly listed conglomerate Press Corporation Plc and as Director of Regulatory Affairs at Airtel Malawi Limited.
With a strong background in executive leadership, Mr. Ndau has held senior management roles across prominent organisations in both the private and public sectors. He brings significant experience in strategic decision-making and governance, having sat on the boards of commercial companies and statutory bodies. His deep understanding of corporate governance frameworks enhances his ability to contribute effectively to high-level oversight and organisational direction.
